Family-Based Faith Formation
More information coming about the home/family-based faith formation program at St. John's. Please contact our Dominican Liaison, Kelli Wood (kgwood@rcdoc.org) with questions.
Fraternus
"Fraternus is a Catholic brotherhood for all ages. For over a decade Fraternus has been recovering the lost art of mentoring, harnessing the power of brotherly men and fathers, and teaching the virtues rooted in Christ as the path to authentic manliness." www.fraternus.net
St. John's Fraternus Chapter aims to help men of the parish recognize their brotherhood and foster it; equip these men to be effective mentors of the young men in the parish; and, in this context of brotherhood, study and develop Christian virtue.
Fraternus meets at Harm Field on Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM. Check the bulletin for contacts and schedule updates.

Totus Tuus
Join us for Totus Tuus 2023 in Forest City!
St. John the Baptist is partnering with Immaculate Conception in Forest City this year for Totus Tuus. (Note: we will not host the program at St. John's due to scheduling conflicts.)
Totus Tuus is a great, FREE Catholic VBS-type program for kids and teens to learn about the life of Christ, attend daily mass, spend time in adoration and praying the rosary, sing songs, play games, and have fun!

Other Youth Faith Formation
As children grow, Creeds and Canons and Donuts and Dogma become valuable additions to their faith formation at home. Don't hesitate to bring the whole family!
Also consider using the recordings of Creeds and Canons and/or Father's Homilies as an enrichment to your home-based faith formation.
